IBIE is the biggest baking trade show in North America, jointly owned by the American Bakers Association (ABA) and the Bakery Equipment Manufacturers and Allieds (BEMA), and supported by the Retail Bakers of America (RBA). All proceeds from this nonprofit event are invested back into the grain-based food industry through activities like research, advocacy, and education.

IBIE is a triennial event. Because the show occurs infrequently, it functions as a concentrated industry moment — many exhibitors time product launches and major announcements around IBIE, and attendees often plan well in advance.
All net proceeds from the nonprofit event are reinvested back into the grain-based food industry.
