The Business of Baking for Beginners, known as BOB, is an all-day intensive workshop held by the Retail Bakers of America (RBA) in conjunction with IBIE 2028 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It’s designed for retail and wholesale bakery owners and operators with fewer than 10 years of industry experience.

Rather than a series of individual talks, BOB is a structured, all-day program covering the operational and business fundamentals of running a retail or wholesale bakery. Standard IBIE education sessions are included with registration; BOB, however, requires a separate add-on fee.
