Invest In Your Career At IBIE 2025
The International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) is the largest, most comprehensive baking industry event in the Western Hemisphere. Here the world of baking — technology, products, equipment, education and opportunities — comes together like nowhere else. Kickstart your career at IBIE by participating in exclusive opportunities for students.
Student Volunteer Program
Volunteer for one five-hour session and receive a free Exhibit Hall Pass—a $295 value. Other benefits include:
- Behind-the-scenes access and educational opportunities. Tasks include helping with the show-floor competitions, celebrity-led demonstrations and educational seminars. You’ll also work closely with notable demonstrators, competitors and presenters.
- Networking with key industry professionals and potential employers. Over 20,000 baking professionals representing every segment of the grain-based food industry attend IBIE. Get in front of future employers and expand your network with established bakers, celebrity chefs and key suppliers.
- A preview of the next generation of technology. At IBIE, the baking industry’s newest advances are on full display in more than 1,000,000 gross square feet of exhibit space, with innovative technology applications for every product category. Stay on top of the trends and ahead of the game in your field.
Student Immersion Program
Looking for a deeper experience? Launched in 2019, IBIE’s Student Immersion Program is designed to further support students in establishing careers in the baking industry.
In addition to the benefits listed above, students selected for this program will be matched with an industry mentor, participate in meetings with select exhibitors and receive a stipend for travel and accommodations. To qualify for the Student Immersion Program, you must attend IBIE for all days of the show and work as a session monitor at a minimum of six IBIEducate sessions and submit an essay post IBIE. All participants must have an academic chaperone attend as well to qualify.
Applications are due by April 3, 2025.
