PERSPECTIVES FROM PAST PARTICIPANTS

“This experience was one of a kind, and I am so grateful to have had this opportunity to participate in IBIE as a part of the Student Immersion Program. I learned new and vital information about the industry I hope to be a part of in the future, network with industry professionals, and overall just be a part of what makes the baking world so special.

Attending IBIE 2022 was the most important opportunity I have had thus far into my college experience. During the week I spent in Las Vegas, I learned so much and met many new people. The networking opportunities were unrivaled by anything else I have ever experienced. I got to know people who worked for companies I have always dreamed of working for, as well as new companies I had previously never heard of. Even as a student, I felt appreciated, valued, and respected by every person I met. It helped to reaffirm why I chose this industry for my future career.

“Our students and I were so grateful for the opportunity to network with the Baking Industry leaders and the students could not say enough kind words about the mentors they were paired with for the conference. The students loved everything; volunteering, the opportunity to walk the show floor and interact with leading industry professionals, the educational sessions, and having a mentor to connect with during the show! “
