A Season of Gratitude: Reflecting on IBIE 2025

As we head into Thanksgiving, gratitude is top of mind—and we keep coming back to the experience we shared at IBIE 2025. This wasn’t just another baking trade show; it was a true milestone moment for our industry. Those few days together this past September demonstrated just how far we’ve come — and how ready we are to rise (pun intended) to the challenges of today’s market.
From the energy on the show floor to the conversations that continued beyond the Las Vegas Convention Center walls, this year’s show reminded us of one important fact: IBIE is only possible because of our extraordinary baking community. And this holiday season, we couldn’t be more thankful.
Gratitude for Our Suppliers
Our suppliers continue to be the backbone of IBIE — and every show cycle, they raise the bar higher. From cutting-edge automation that supports workforce constraints to packaging breakthroughs that meet sustainability expectations to bold new ingredient solutions driven by evolving consumer trends, this year’s exhibitors showed that innovation is part of their DNA. Their commitment to helping bakers tackle today’s toughest challenges is what keeps this industry moving forward. And for that, we are deeply grateful.
Appreciation for Our Speakers & Demonstrators
IBIE 2025 brought together some of the brightest minds and boldest thinkers in the baking industry. Our speakers and demonstrators filled classrooms, stages, and demo areas with creativity, inspiration, data, trends—and plenty of practical knowledge. This year’s IBIEducate programming empowered attendees with sessions that unpacked the role of AI in modern production while hands-on demos showed how to implement automation strategies, insights into shifting workforce dynamics, and so much more. Their leadership helps us all continue to thrive, no matter what changes come our way—and we couldn’t be more thankful.
Thanks to the Bakers Who Keep Showing Up
Of course, none of this would be possible without the bakers! They came ready to explore innovations, hear different perspectives, taste new products, and connect with peers who feel more like family. For generations, IBIE has been a destination. A place where bakers gather not just to learn or shop—but to belong. And in a world where global economic uncertainty can weigh heavily, IBIE felt like a warm hug (or maybe a perfectly proofed loaf). That tradition continues because of the bakers who keep coming back. We appreciate each and every one of you.
Honoring the Partners Who Power IBIE
Finally, our deepest thanks to the organizations and individuals who shape the strategic foundation of IBIE. To our supporting associations, media partners, vendor partners, and the IBIE Committee: Your collaboration is what enables this show to continue meeting the evolving needs of the industry. You help us stay aligned with the priorities of bakers, suppliers, retailers, and emerging talent. IBIE is a true team effort, and we are incredibly grateful for all of your contributions.
Thankful for This Industry — Today and Always
Last (but certainly not least), we want to say that we’re incredibly thankful for the trust this industry places in us. It’s an honor to create an experience that helps our community navigate challenges and uncover opportunities in the constantly evolving world of baking.
Wishing you a Thanksgiving filled with good company—and of course, plenty of bread. 🍞🧡
