Creative Cake Decorating Competition 2025

Creativity will take center stage, as six teams of elite professional cake decorators challenge each other to a contest of imagination, artistry and skill. This year marks the 20th edition of this prestigious cake decorating competition, held in the expo’s popular Retail Bakers Center. Attendees will have a front-row view of the action, including celebrity and master baker judges, and live commentary.

How It Works

This showdown will feature 6 teams of cake decorating professional pairs. Competitors will face off in four categories: wedding cake, rolled fondant, buttercream, and sculpted cake. The highest-scoring team, as determined by a panel of judges, will be awarded the coveted Pillsbury Bakers’ Plus Grand Champion Trophy. Gold, silver and bronze medals, along with cash prizes will also be awarded for the highest scores in each category.

Cyd Mitchell, known for her role on the CW’s “Holiday Kids’ Baking Battle,” hosts and commentates the competition.

Kaeln Allen, American actor, comedian, and internet personality who gained widespread popularity through his viral food reaction videos and frequent appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
