Panettone World Cup IBIE 2025

The Panettone World Cup returns to the U.S. for the Central and North America selection. This prestigious competition will take place during the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE 2025) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Open to pastry chefs from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, and Uruguay, the event will determine who advances to the 2026 World Final in Milan, Italy, where they will compete for the ultimate title in November 2026.

To enter the Panettone World Cup – Americas Selection, competitors must first register for the Baking Expo™ and pay a €200 entry fee. Participants will have full access to the expo and its educational programming while attending IBIE 2025.

How It Works

Applications are open until Aug 31, 2025, with limited spots available—only 30 competitors per category. Accepted applicants will receive confirmation along with instructions for submitting their panettone for judging.

The live judging will take place on September 16, 2025, on the IBIE show floor in West Hall #3245 – Artisan Village. An esteemed pannel owill evaluate the external appearance (shape, volume and color), the interior (honeycomb, fruit distribution and roundness) and sensory appreciation (perfume, flavor and aromaticity).
