IBIE Named Fastest-Growing Gold 100 Food Show in 2025

2025 show posted 9% growth in exhibit space and included 484 first-time exhibitors

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Oct. 15, 2026) — The International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) has been named “The Fastest-Growing Gold 100 Food Show in 2025” by Trade Show Executive (TSE). The honor is one of TSE’s 2026 Gold 100 Grand Awards.

TSE presented the award Sept. 23 at its Gold 100 Awards & Summit in Palos Verdes, Calif. The award recognizes IBIE 2025, held Sept. 13-17, 2025, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

TSE’s Gold 100 ranks the 100 largest U.S. trade shows by net square feet of paid exhibit space, with IBIE ranked No. 27 on the 2026 list.

“For bakers, a larger floor means more to compare in one trip,” said Allen Wright, IBIE 2028 chair and president of Hansaloy. “For suppliers, it means more conversations with customers who are actively evaluating what to buy next.”

The recognition follows IBIE’s May announcement that it earned the Grand Award for Fastest-Growing Non-Annual Show by Blended Growth as part of TSE’s Fastest 50 Awards Class of 2025. Fastest 50 is TSE’s annual program recognizing the fastest-growing trade shows in the United States, with Grand Award winners representing the program’s highest tier of recognition.

IBIE earned the Fastest 50 award for growth across the three measures used to determine blended growth: number of exhibitors, attendance, and net square footage.

IBIE 2025 filled 451,100 net square feet of sold-out exhibit space, a record in the show’s 105-year history, up 9% from 2022. The 2025 show featured 1,005 exhibiting companies, including 484 first-time exhibitors.

“IBIE gives equipment manufacturers and suppliers a direct view into where the baking industry is investing and what businesses need next,” said Kerwin Brown, CEO of BEMA. “Continued growth reflects the commitment companies are making to bring their latest capabilities to the industry and to IBIE.”

The show drew over 19,000 attendees representing 96 countries. Among attendees, 88% identified as purchasing approvers, specifiers or recommenders.

“The growth of IBIE reflects an industry that continues to invest, innovate, and evolve,” said Eric Dell, President and CEO of the American Bakers Association. “By bringing the entire baking community together, IBIE gives baking businesses access to the cutting-edge technologies and expertise they need to strengthen their businesses for the future.”

IBIE is held every three years. The next show returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center in 2028, with education Sept. 9-13, and the Expo Hall opens Sept. 10-13.

“We’re proud to have IBIE 2025 recognized by Trade Show Executive because growth at this scale doesn’t happen by standing still,” said Samantha Moore, director, trade show operations, assistant secretary IBIE. “The baking industry keeps changing, and IBIE has to keep changing with it. That’s the mindset we’re bringing to 2028.”
