IBIE Wins Grand Award for Fastest-Growing Non-Annual Show by Blended Growth

The grain-based food industry event is recognized for 2025 numbers across exhibitors, attendance, and exhibit space
WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 19, 2026) — The International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) has earned the Grand Award for Fastest-Growing Non-Annual Show by Blended Growth as part of Trade Show Executive’s Fastest 50 Awards Class of 2025. IBIE, the Western Hemisphere’s largest and most comprehensive baking event, was honored during the Fastest 50 Awards & Summit, April 22-24, in Baltimore, Maryland.
The Fastest 50 is an annual program produced by Trade Show Executive (TSE) that celebrates the fastest-growing trade shows in the United States. The program provides U.S. show organizers a platform to highlight their achievements, with Grand Award winners representing the highest tier of recognition among honorees.
IBIE earned the award for exceptional growth across three metrics that define blended growth: number of exhibitors, attendance, and net square footage. In 2025, the show drew 1,005 exhibitors and over 19,000 attendees representing 96 countries. The 451,100- square-foot show floor set an IBIE record for sold-out space.
“Winning this award is a tremendous honor, but it’s also a testament to what our community has built together,” said Allen Wright, IBIE 2028 chair and president of Hansaloy. “IBIE is the heart of the grain-based food industry, and to see that reflected in the show’s growth makes this recognition especially meaningful. We couldn’t be more proud.”
That growth is rooted in IBIE’s century-plus reputation and unmatched breadth. Spanning the equivalent of 10 acres, the expo floor brings together leading manufacturers and suppliers from around the world, covering everything from production equipment and ingredients to packaging, sanitation, and automation. Attendees engage directly with product experts through hands-on demos, giving baking professionals at every level the tools and insights to move their businesses forward.
“IBIE’s growth symbolizes how much our industry values having a dedicated space to connect, learn, and innovate,” said Samantha Moore, director of trade show operations, IBIE. “More exhibitors mean more solutions. More attendees mean more collaboration. That momentum carries far beyond the show floor into every corner of the industry worldwide.”
IBIE 2028 will return to Las Vegas, Sept. 10-13, 2028. Baking professionals, manufacturers, and suppliers are encouraged to mark their calendars for the next gathering of the industry’s global community.
