Elite cake decorators and sugar artists go head-to-head in this captivating IBIE competition in front of thousands of attendees and potential sponsors! The Pillsbury Creative Cake Decorating Competition offers you the perfect platform to display your creativity, artistry and skill live at the vibrant RBA Retail Bakers Center. Six teams of two will battle it out across four categories: wedding cake, rolled fondant, buttercream and sculpted cake. Winners will take home cash prizes, medals, bragging rights and valuable PR coverage.

Competition: Sept. 14-15 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (North Hall #5874 – RBA Retail Bakers Center)
Awards Ceremony: Sept. 16 from 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM (North Hall #5874 – RBA Retail Bakers Center)

Celebrate Excellence in Baked Goods: Enter the World Bread Awards USA

The nation’s most prestigious baked goods competition, IBIE World Bread Awards USA – crafted by RBA and BBGA, returns to the Baking Expo™. Bakers are invited to submit their finest creations across 13 product categories, including baguettes, bagels, sourdough, and flatbread. An esteemed panel of judges will meticulously examine each entry live at IBIE 2025. Winners secure cash prizes, trophies, bragging rights and valuable PR coverage.

Competition: Sept. 15 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (West Hall #3245 – Artisan Village)
Awards Ceremony and Brunch: Sept. 16 from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM (West Hall 2nd Floor)

Be a part of history as the renowned Panettone World Cup makes its debut at IBIE 2025! Pastry Chefs from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela and Uruguay are eligible to compete in the Americas Selection across two categories: traditional and chocolate. Judges will evaluate the external appearance (shape, volume and color), the interior (honeycomb, fruit distribution and roundness) and sensory appreciation (perfume, flavor and aromaticity). The ultimate reward? The incredible honor of representing your country on the international stage at the global grand championship in Milan, Italy, in November 2026!
